In this troubleshooting tutorial video, I'll show how to fix the Way of the Samurai 4 not launching problem, a launch failure, or crash, that happens right when trying to launch or start the game, and in many cases, not error message appears at all. During this error, Way of the Samurai 4 simply does not launch at all, with players not even able to reach the main menu of the game. In other cases, users may receive the error message "CPhysXManager::Init fail", after which the game automatically closes, and users are unable to effectively play the game. <br /><br />In most cases, this "launch failure" or crash is related to Nvidia's PhysX software, however, the solution to this problem is not trivial, because simply installing the PhysX software may not be enough in some cases. For this reason, follow the steps of the video so we can solve all of the nuances of this specific problem. <br /><br />PART I - Nvidia PhysX <br />1. Go to the Internet <br />2. Search for "Nvidia PhysX" <br />3. Go to the official Nvidia PhysX download webpage (as shown in the video) <br />https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-19-0218-driver/ <br />4. If the webpage is no longer available, you can use a Time Machine website such as the Internet Archive to access the page <br />5. Download Nvidia PhysX <br />6. Install Nvidia PhysX <br />Now, proceed to the next part of the video. <br /><br />PART II - Nvidia PhysX Files <br />1. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common" <br />In some cases, the Nvidia folder may instead be in "C:\", so pay attention to which case Nvidia files are installed in your computer. <br />2. Select all of the files inside the folder <br />3. Copy the files <br />4. Go to where you installed Way of the Samurai 4 in your computer and open the game folder <br />5. Paste the copied files in this folder <br /><br />PART III - Microsoft Visual Redistributable 2010 (x86) <br />Some people may also need to download the Microsoft Visual Redistributable package of 2010 (x86). You can find it on the Internet. I recommend to download it from the official Microsoft webpage (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999). Download it and install it. This last part is optional, as not everyone will need it.
